ONCE WE RULED THE WORLD
RESEARCH / CONCEPTS

This section presents the research, conceptual development, and visual investigations that inform my artistic practice. Through drawing, collage, archival material, maps, scientific references, and handwritten notes, these works explore themes of evolution, extinction, archaeology, memory, and humanity's relationship with the natural world.

Rather than functioning solely as preparatory sketches, these pieces are autonomous works that document the development of ideas while laying the foundation for future installations and larger bodies of work. They reveal the connections between scientific inquiry, historical narratives, and artistic imagination, offering insight into the thinking process behind each project.

Each work is unique and forms part of an ongoing research practice where observation, experimentation, and conceptual exploration converge.
